Who We Are

The Laboratory of Agricultural Microbiology and Biotechnology, established in 2010 by Associate Professor Dr. Dimitris Tsaltas, is a stimulating environment for learning and applying knowledge to improve agricultural output through innovative microbiological procedures.

The primary research goal of the group is to investigate agro-industrial fermentations, as well as microbial activities and interactions in agrifood ecosystems.
